The Technical University of Denmark is a top technical university, with 7,000 students and 5,000 members of staff. Around half the staff are engaged in research and teaching, while the other half are responsible for a wide range of technical and administrative tasks.
Most of our staff are affiliated to one of the institutes at Campus Lyngby or Campus Risø in Roskilde and in Jutland (map). We also have staff at the corporate level who work at DTU Administration or Campus Service.
You can meet some of our employees and hear them talk about their work at DTU. Using videos and presentations, they will give you an insight into DTU as a workplace and introduce you to some of the exciting research in which the university is involved.
Here are most of the features prepared by DTU for "Danskernes Akademi" [Danish Academy], a daily series of programmes shown at Danish television featuring lectures on current research. The lectures provide an insight into the way in which the knowledge and talents of the engineers helps generate new creative ideas, new ways of combining tried and tested expertise and solutions that really matter.
